Welcome to the FavoHost family! We are very happy to have you with us. This guide will walk you through the first essential steps to get your new hosting account up and running. Our goal is to make web hosting fast, simple, and secure for you.

Understanding Your Account

Your FavoHost account has two important parts:

  1. Your Client Area: This is where you manage your billing, invoices, support tickets, and see all the services you have with us.

  2. Your cPanel: This is your powerful hosting control panel. This is where you manage your website's files, create email accounts, manage databases, and more.

The easiest way to get to your control panel is to first log in to our Client Area. From there, go to "My Services," select your hosting plan, and click the "Login to cPanel" button.

 

Your 3-Step Quick Start Checklist

 

Here are the three most common things new users do right away.

Step 1: Create Your Professional Email One of the best features of having your own hosting is creating an email address with your domain name (like info@yourdomain.com). In cPanel, find the "Email Accounts" icon to create your new mailboxes in seconds.

Step 2: Install Your Website You can install hundreds of applications like Joomla and Drupal with one click using the "Softaculous" installer in cPanel.

For the best performance, we highly recommend WordPress. Our servers are specially optimized with LiteSpeed Cache, and you get the WP Toolkit included to make managing your WordPress site incredibly simple.

Step 3: Connect Your Domain Name If your domain is registered with another company, you need to point it to our servers. To do this, you must update its nameservers to:

  • ns1.favohost.com

  • ns2.favohost.com

  • ns3.favohost.com

  • ns4.favohost.com

Please remember it can take a few hours for this change to work everywhere on the internet.

 

Security is Automatic

 

You don't have to worry about the basics. Your account is automatically protected by our Imunify360 security suite, and a Free SSL Certificate will be automatically installed for your domain to keep your visitors safe.
