cPanel Hosting Overview

What is cPanel?

cPanel is a powerful and popular control panel that we include with every FavoHost hosting plan. It uses a simple graphical interface (like the one shown below) to help you easily manage every part of your website, from files and emails to databases and software.

How to Log In to cPanel

There are two easy ways to access your cPanel:

1. Through our Client Area (Recommended)

Log in to your FavoHost Client Area, go to "Services > My Services," select your hosting plan, and click the "Login to cPanel" button. This method is the most secure.

2. Direct Login

You can also log in by visiting yourdomain.com/cpanel (replace with your domain). You'll need the cPanel username and password that were sent to you in your hosting welcome email.

Installing Software (like WordPress)

The easiest way to install applications like WordPress, Joomla, or Magento is with the Softaculous Apps Installer included in your cPanel. It lets you install hundreds of popular apps with just a few clicks, without needing any technical skills.

Uploading and Managing Files

Your website's files must be placed in the public_html folder. You can easily upload, download, and edit your files using the built-in File Manager in cPanel. For more advanced users, you can also connect directly using an FTP application like FileZilla.

SSL Certificates

At FavoHost, security is standard. We provide a Free SSL Certificate for every domain on your account. Our AutoSSL tool automatically installs and renews it for you, so you don't have to do anything to keep your site secure with https.

Email Accounts

Every FavoHost plan lets you create professional email accounts with your own domain (for example, you@yourdomain.com). In cPanel, just go to the "Email Accounts" section to create full mailboxes or set up forwarders to another address.

Optimization and Performance

Your FavoHost account is already set up for great performance with our LiteSpeed servers and NVMe SSDs. For even more speed, you can use the LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager tool in cPanel to further optimize your website.
