Refund policy

Please read this agreement carefully, as it contains important information regarding your legal rights and remedies.

Standard Refund Terms

Products and services purchased from FavoHost may be refunded only if a cancellation request is submitted within 30 days of the date of the transaction.

  • “Date of the transaction” refers to the date of purchase of any product or service, which includes the date any renewal is processed by FavoHost in accordance with our Terms of Service.

  • You may cancel a product at any time, but a refund will only be issued if the cancellation is requested within the 30-day refund timeframe.

  • Note: If a customer’s actions are found to be in violation of the FavoHost Terms of Service, any payments made will not be refunded.

Products and Refund Eligibility

A. Products Eligible for Refund under Standard Terms:

  • Hosting Plans: All shared and reseller hosting plans are eligible for a refund within 30 days of the initial purchase.

  • SSL Certificates: Standard SSL certificates purchased from FavoHost.

B. Products Not Available for Refunds:

  • Domain Name Renewals

  • Domain Name Transfers (if the transfer is successful)

  • Privacy Protection / WHOIS Guard services

  • Dedicated IP Addresses

  • Paid Support Services or administrative fees.

  • Any product or service that was suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.

C. Abuse of Refund Policy:

The purpose of our refund policy is to allow customers to determine if our services suit their needs. FavoHost will not tolerate abusive usage of refunds (e.g., refunding the same service multiple times). FavoHost reserves the right to unilaterally decline a refund request if abuse is suspected.

Products with Special Refund Terms

New domain name registrations are refundable only if canceled and processed within 96 hours (4 days) of registration. Please note that certain country-code top-level domains (ccTLDs) are non-refundable by registry policy.

B. Special Deals (e.g., Free Domain with Hosting):

If you purchase a hosting plan that includes a free domain name, and you cancel the hosting plan within the 30-day refund period, the standard list price for the domain name will be deducted from your refund amount. You will retain ownership of the domain name for the remainder of its registration period.

Payment Methods and Process

A. General Terms:

Please note that our payment processors may have their own policies for refunds, and some payment methods may not be eligible for a refund to the original payment source. In such cases, a refund may be issued as a credit to your FavoHost account balance.

B. Refunds to Account Credit:

In certain cases (such as non-refundable payment methods), you may receive a refund in the form of credit to your FavoHost account balance. This credit can be used for any future purchase of our services. Once a refund is issued to your account credit, it is irrevocable and cannot be converted to a cash refund later.

C. Chargebacks:

If we receive a chargeback or payment dispute from a credit card company or bank, your account will be considered in breach of your payment obligations. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your services immediately and without notice.

Your services and account will not be reinstated until you have paid all applicable fees in full, including any fees and expenses incurred by FavoHost as a result of the chargeback.
